Coming up at Shore Hope…
June is Mission Focus Month
June is Mission Focus Month. From 14th June until 12th July, we will focus on one of our Mission Partners each week. During the month we will have in-person visits from some of our partners. We will also set aside time to pray together and learn more of the work our partners are doing. Please plan the month as an opportunity of special prayer for and practical support of the partners we support as a church family.
Monthly Men's BBQ | 4th July
Men from Shore Hope, and those they know, are warmly invited to our monthly Men’s BBQ, on Saturday 6 June from 7:00–9:00am at the Victoria Point church building. This will be a relaxed space to enjoy breakfast together, build friendships, and have honest conversations about life and faith. Whether you’re a regular at church or simply looking to connect with others, you’d be very welcome.
The BBQ will run on the first Saturday of each month and our hope is that this becomes a simple, encouraging space where men can find community, support, and meaningful connection. Talk to Jesse (0407 894 755) or Raj (0412 585 218) to find out more.

Women's Teaching Day | 23rd May
Kate Mitchell from Ann St Presbyterian and Jennie Baddeley will be speaking about what it means to follow Jesus as women. We feel all kinds of pressures from all kinds of places, and hear all sorts of messages about what it means to be a women and even what it means to be a Christian woman. How do we make sense of all of this? We'll hear from God's Word and have time to reflect and pray and encourage each other to keep trusting God and finding our identity in Christ.
Registration is now open. Please note that you will receive an invoice with your ticket but payment will be taken on the day (EFTPOS only).
This year the Women's Teaching Day has its very own Spotify playlist. Click on the link to be listening (and singing along) to some great Christian songs. We'll sing some of these together on the day. Spotify Playlist Link.
Taste & See | 17th May - 7th June
Taste & See is an opportunity to explore the timeless, good news of Jesus with friends through a series of meals around the table.
Over four weeks and four different meals, we examine four big ideas about God around the table. Each meal illustrates part of the grand narrative of the bible’s storyline. It is an invitation to engage all the senses and experience for yourself the beauty of God’s story as we ‘eat our way through the bible’. Along the way we tap into questions of meaning, purpose and hope and hear God’s generous invitation to ‘life to the full’.
