Kids Ministry at Shore Hope

At Shore Hope our kids (3 years to Grade 6) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

We would love to see you and your family visit Shore Hope Kids.

Your first visit

Here's what to expect when visiting Shore Hope Kids for the first time:

First, mention to the people welcoming at the door that your kids want to visit Shore Hope Kids. They'll introduce you to the leaders and explain how Shore Hope Kids work.

Arrive at the Redland Bay State School Hall at 9.30am. The Kids Ministry team will help you check your child into our system.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • Parent/guardian name(s)

  • Child's name

  • Child's birthdate

  • Home address

  • Phone number

  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

This won't take long and you can head back in to be part of the service.

Plan a Visit

How Shore Hope Kids works

Kids will head with the leaders to the Shore Hope Kids area. You’re welcome to tag along and see what happens. There’ll be a combined time where the kids will settle and connect, and the bible story for the day will be introduced. Often there’ll be a game or activity together. And then they’ll break into small groups to do some more investigating and applying according to each age level.

Around 10.15am everyone heads back to the hall for some refreshments and fun before the service begins at 10.30am.

Meet our Kids Co-ordinator

Jocelyn Williams co-ordinates Shore Hope Kids and is married to our lead pastor, Russell. She's the first person to see if you have any questions.
